On Monday we welcomed the Rotary caravaners for their annual trip to Norfolk. They joined us on a tour of Whitwell Hall followed by a talk by John McKean who outlined the future needs of the property. With larger groups of young campers, there is a need for new toilet and shower facilities. We are probably too old to repeat our construction efforts of 2005 but we will want to see how we can help.
It was also good to welcome Jeannette Overton and family to remember all she did for the Patient Care Fund which is now incorporated into the Whitwell charity.
